Hello CORE families,

We missed our field trip to the Sacramento Zoo, so we are now bringing the zoo to you. Just a different one. A virtual one.

The San Diego Zoo sets the standard for modern zoos.  Its innovative animal habitats provide natural settings for animals, often with different species living among one another.

The site is great for kids of all ages. Even young kids can navigate it. Your student will find games, stories, videos, activities and information on every animal located there.

Over 3,700 different animals and more than 650 animal species call the zoo home. It is virtually impossible to not learn something new during your visit.

There are also live cameras on polar bears, penguins, giraffes, elephants, tigers and more.  You can view them in real time. 

So today, even though we cannot be together watching the polar bear, we can all visit the zoo.
